Top Organization Who Donate Bibles To Prisoners

A person can only be imprisoned for one reason: they have committed an unpardonable sin for which they are receiving punishment by being put behind bars. A person who is deprived of their liberty against their will. Forcible restraint, captivity, or confinement are all examples of this. The phrase specifically refers to completing a prison sentence inside of a prison. But what happens while they are inside? What does God say about prisoners?

If we think of it from the standpoint of society, prisoners don’t deserve to be treated nicely, yet there is a ministry that distributes the Bible to inmates. Giving a bible to a prisoner is a special ministry in which we impart to the person a word and truth directly from God. It is heartwarming to see how many organizations have made it a priority to provide Bibles to prisoners so they can read God’s word. In this way, we can clearly see that the broken are not despised by God, and neither should we. We are to imitate the One who came to seek and to save the lost—as we ourselves were—no matter what kind of chains bind and impair us. Although society may view jail as a place of punishment, God can utilize it as a setting for improvement and change. He follows people who are imprisoned in love and does not give up on them. God wants to free people who are imprisoned—not always physically, but most definitely by sin, ignorance, rebellion, and poor decisions. Jesus warns us not to treat people differently based on where they are in life. Here are our top choice for organizations that donate bibles to prisoners:

  • Prison Fellowship

Located in the selected areas only, the Prison Fellowship Organization assists both men and women in breaking the cycle of dysfunction that led to their prison sentences. They mobilize grassroots networks to promote justice reform and advocate for it. To bring healing change to their facilities, they are the wardens. They provide for the families of prisoners and support the relationship between kids and their incarcerated parents. They request that the Church take the lead in providing care for people who are affected by the criminal justice system. They approach everything from a biblical perspective. Visit their website right here: https://www.prisonfellowship.org/

This organization does not only give bibles, but they also provide services and sessions in the prison. More than 1.7 million Americans are currently incarcerated, more than in any other country. The organization believes that in this way they can lessen the crime in their country. According to Prison Fellowship®, nobody is beyond God’s grasp.

  • Bibles for Prisoners

Their mission is to have an impact on God’s kingdom through correspondence Bible studies and outreach to the prison population to share the gospel and disciple them. One of their greatest passions is introducing prisoners to Christ. A free Bible study has been produced by them which they called “Who is God?”They encourage inmates to start a relationship with Christ and join our discipleship program. The opportunities listed below are open to both individuals and groups. Visit their website right here: https://cli.world/bibles-for-prisoners

  • Rescued Not Arrested

Their goal is to spread the Good News of the Gospels and the Great Commission to those who are imprisoned around the world and to their loved ones. When prisoners are released, they either share the bible with a large group of other prisoners or leave it inside with their friends.

Roger Munchian, who was the founder of this organization believes, Everyone was made in the likeness of God to experience the adventure of following Jesus. People have a great capacity for good, but they also have the freedom and propensity to act evilly or sin against God, which distances them from God. Thus, all people are in need of a savior – Jesus Christ. He discovered a love for reaching out to the neglected and lost in the jail and prison system while serving a sentence at Lewis Prison in 2003. Shortly after he was freed from prison, he founded Life Changing Prison Ministry with the assistance of a buddy, bringing his vision to reality. People Who Consistently Read The Bible Have More Hope, Survey Finds

According to the American Bible Society’s study, consistency in reading and applying the Bible makes a person more hopeful and encourages them to be resilient. The study is conducted in accordance with the American Bible Society’s report on the recent 12th annual “State of the Bible”.

According to John Farquhar Plake, PD.D., and the American Bible Society’s director of ministry intelligence, the results continue to show that the Bible encourages more hope to the reader.

“Christians know that Jesus offers us full life; there’s no surprise here. But for those who are questioning their faith or even who need reassurance after a hard season, the data validates that applying the truths of Scripture leads to better health, better relationships, and a higher sense of purpose and meaning-all while bringing us closer to God.” – Statement from John Farquhar Plake, Ph.D.

The massive damage caused by the recent pandemic COVID19, that affect people to worry more and even have anxiety. It is even more difficult for people to interact with each other, making it more difficult for us to communicate. Research team American Bible Society, was thrilled to find that the study confirmed that the Bible prompted more people to feel hopeful even during a pandemic.

“People who are deeply connected to the Bible and to the Christian community are remarkably resilient,” and “were more apt to overcome certain challenges,” Plaked added in an interview with CBN‘s Healthy Living.

The Bible’s Message of Comfort and Strength

Another core message from the Bible that can give us hope during the pandemic is the message of comfort and strength. The pandemic can be a challenging and difficult time, and it can be easy to get caught up in our own challenges and struggles. But by looking inward and finding comfort and strength within ourselves, we can help ourselves to stay strong and positive even during the toughest times. Comfort and strength can be wonderful ways to connect with our neighbors and show them that we are there for them. It can be a way to lift up our neighbors in comfort and strength and to let them know that we care.

The pandemic can be a challenging time, but it can also be a time when we can come together as a community and support each other. Comfort and strength can be a great way to apply the Bible’s teachings to our lives and show others that we care and are there for them. The pandemic is a challenging and difficult time, but it can also be a time when we can come together as a community and support each other.

People who are deeply connected to the Bible are said to be more mature in decision-making. They are said to have more values and surrendered their lives to the Lord. Lastly, comforting promises from the Bible are said to decrease stress levels.

Pastor Donates His Kidney To A Stranger He Just Met and Doctors Make A Huge Discovery

Don and his wife approached a church one day after hearing gospel music playing inside the building. He was unaware that this would mark the largest turning point in his life.

Don met Pastor Tim Jones inside the church, who enjoys music as well. They both relate their experience. Pastor Tim was unaware that Herbert had been dealing with a potentially fatal medical condition for a number of years. He was now confronted with a second tragedy: he urgently required a kidney donation because his own kidneys were failing as well.

Belinda, Don’s wife, decided whether to publicize the issue on Facebook in order to solicit donations or not. Without a second thought, Pastor Jones offered to donate his own kidney to the man he had just met when Pastor Tim viewed the Facebook post. Numerous tests had to be conducted before this could occur, but miraculously the two men were a perfect match!

Doctors were horrified when they opened up Pastor Time Jones. They found that after removing his kidney, Jones had an aneurysm. Having spotted it, the doctors were able to clip it in order to prevent any problems. By selflessly donating his kidney to a guy he had barely known for two weeks, Pastor Tim also saved his own life! This unusual turn of events that day saved the lives of both men!

Writer Thoughts

You suddenly feel as though the entire universe is pulling strings behind the scenes without you even realizing it to grant you all of your wishes, which you undoubtedly deserve despite your lack of hope. Some refer to it as luck, while others assert that it was planned that way, and still others mention the law of attraction. Good things come to those who know how to wait and to those who can finally savor the luck that was actively shaping itself day in and day out.

No matter what we see or don’t see, no matter how we feel, God is constantly at work. God doesn’t adapt to the situation. We must always keep in mind that God is loyal and true to His promises, even when the world around us is changing or seems uncertain. He never stops working. The truth is that we want to see and understand everything that God is doing in every moment, but that isn’t how God works. The reason we want this is that we see ourselves at the center of our own story. We are looking for how God is going to intervene and enter our story. The problem is that we have it backward.

We are not in the midst of our own story but in the midst of God’s story. He is at the center. This is His story, and we get to see how we fit into it. And we do fit into it. Just like the people in the Bible, We are someone who is blessed to be created and known by God for the purpose of accomplishing His will. Both our sentiments and our circumstances cannot tell us whether God is at work. Because it is His story, God is constantly at work. So, no matter what challenges we encounter, we may always keep in mind that we are a part of his amazing story, on which He is constantly at work.

A Grieving Bird That Ripped Out Her Own Feathers From Grief Found New Joy With Her New Owner

Cockatoo Bird, Audrey, was in deep sorrow after her owner passed away. She stopped singing and plucked out all of her feathers. Audrey’s owner’s wife, who met Misha Sitova and informed him how her husband died and also described how Audrey, a 15-year-old cockatoo, had been affected in despair by plucking out all her feathers.

Misha was so worried about Audrey’s condition and the next time they met, Audrey flew into his arms, which an impression that Audrey wanted to connect with him. The widow asked Misha if he would adopt the bird. Eventually, they adopt Audrey. It took many weeks for Audrey to get used to Misha, but she immediately loved him and followed him everywhere in the house. The funnier thing is that Audrey imitates Misha’s movement while playing music for a dance.

“Audrey started singing and dancing. We sent the video to Pat and she was just as shocked as we were to learn Audrey loves to jam,” Kristen wrote.

After several months of living with Audrey, the couple finds out that Audrey loves to whistle, use new phrases every day, and even dance. Misha’s wife, Kristin, posted a Youtube video showing how much Audrey loves music. It has taken only three months for Audrey to grow all of her feathers back.

“She surprises us daily with new whistles, words, and dance moves. She’s especially into learning choreography like in this video with Misha. Her feathers are all growing back in too!” Kristen added.

“Audrey continues to surprise us every day with her love of dancing and music!” Kristen added.

Misha and Kristin have had Audrey for a few years now, and she couldn’t be happier.

Ask All Things In Jesus Name

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV)
The only way to God, is through our Savior, Jesus. It is Jesus who took the sins of the world
with him when he was mercilessly crucified on the cross. Salvation became ours on that day,
through the blood of Christ. How anyone can think of that horrific day, and not be brought to
tears is beyond me.

So, when you talk with God, and ask for what you want, remember the One who gave the
ultimate sacrifice for you.
If you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, it is time…right now.
“No one comes to the Father, but through me.” John 14:6
We never know when we will be called by God to come be with him, so why wait? It IS
imperative for your eternal salvation.
Nothing we can do is good enough to get us into Heaven, and yet nothing we do is bad
enough to keep us out…it’s all about believing in the sacrifice made for us by Jesus.
This is not to say that we should be bad people…but being Christ-like will make you WANT to
be better.
Even people who consider themselves the most lost, are certainly not beyond His grace and
saving.
At the crucifixion, after the soldiers spat on him, nailed him to a cross, and poked his body
with spears, Jesus STILL wanted God to forgive them.
Luke 23:34
Then Jesus said, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”.
If Jesus can forgive them, he can, and will forgive anyone. It doesn’t matter what you have
done, Jesus is waiting for you…all you need do is ask.

how to pray 4

How To Pray?

While prayer from an individual works well…imagine the case where several people get
together and pray for the exact same thing. God loves people gathering in His name to pray!
Prayers chains, prayer groups, prayer in our churches. This is POWERFUL, and should be
used whenever possible…and remember the positive images. Everyone should be
concentrating on that positive image.
This seems simplistic, I know…but put it to the test. Start praying with that positive picture
for anyone you pray for.

Pray For Our Leaders
We need prayer especially for our leaders. The President, The Congress, Senate, and our
local leaders such as the Mayors. This may be difficult for many of us to do as we do not see
eye to eye with them. We also need prayer for our protectors. The police, firefighters, and
EMT’s. In our particular circumstances in our world today, it is crucial to pray for those who
make decisions for our countries, and for the ones who put themselves in harms way to
protect us from danger.
Special prayers should also be said for our military and their families, who give SO much to
ensure the freedoms that we have come to enjoy.
I’m going to share a story about a leader that NOBODY wanted to pray for. His name was
Adolph Hitler. In the United States, a coalition of pastors got together to start a prayer chain
to start to pray for Hitler. People thought they were crazy…and UN-American. It was decided,
however, that congregations would start praying for Hitler.
It was only a matter of months since people started praying for Hitler, that the Third Reich
started having problems. They began to crumble. At the point of the beginning of the
prayers, Hitler was winning the war. Within one year, the war in Europe was over. How’s that
for the power of prayer?

Let God Handle It
Whenever I start feel overwhelmed, it is at a time when I have forgotten to turn it over to
God and let him handle it. I guess sometimes we are so anxious for something, that we
forget that it is NOT in our hands…but in God’s. Maybe that’s where the old adage comes in,
“All things in God’s good time”.
I think I try and force the issue sometimes…which is really dumb, but, after all, I am human
and therefore flawed. If you are like me, you want everything yesterday, but unless it falls
into God’s timeline for you, you’re barking up the wrong tree.
This is when we need to humble ourselves before God, and ask him for what we want. If it is
in his plans for us…it will be known to you soon enough…but don’t rush it.
In Philippians 4:6-7 Paul said, “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and

petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” Simply
put, pray and ask God for everything you want, and need…and in all prayers, give thanks.
Another thing I found out is that God has a sense of humor. My wife and I were very content
in our lives. My kids were grown and gone, and it was now time for some leisure. Not much
to worry about, which was fantastic. I had two daughters from a previous marriage, and my
wife had never had children…which was the way she wanted it.
Then the phone call came…
One of my daughters had lost her children due to neglect (and a few other things that I won’t
go into here,) and my 4 grand children were in the foster care system in the state of Nevada.
Our lives will never be the same…hahaha.
We had recently moved to our current home, which is HUGE! 5 bedrooms, 3 and a half baths
just for the 3 of us…My wife, her mother, myself, 2 dogs and a cat. There was no reason
whatsoever for us to buy such a large house, and always laughed about what we were going
to do with the extra space. 3 weeks after we moved in…we got the phone call.
How’s that for timing? We have now adopted 4 of our 7 grand children, and fit perfectly in
this home.
See…I truly believe that it was all God’s plan all along. We think it’s our idea in the beginning,
but then God shows you differently. Tell me He doesn’t have a sense of humor:)

how to pray

The Lord’s Prayer

There is no better way to learn how to pray, then to study the words of the original Teacher,
Jesus Himself. Who else to give you a direct line to the Father, than from the Son? When
asked by a disciple on how to pray, Jesus taught his disciples this.
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed Be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory
Forever…Amen

This may sound pretty, and it is an awesome prayer, but do we know what we are saying
when we pray that prayer? Let’s break it down so that we may truly understand.
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.”
Here we are revering our Father as Holy and Sacred. In the beginning of our prayers, lifting
our God up beyond all things should be paramount. This is OUR time with God, and we do
not want any thoughts in our mind other than speaking with him.
“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done…on earth, as it is in heaven”
In this phrase we are simply stating a fact of all believers and doers of God’s word. Our
Kingdom is waiting for us if we adhere to his wishes. There is no sin in heaven, and that is
exactly what he is asking of us to be done on earth.
“Give us this day, our daily bread”
This is basically where we ask God to grant our prayers to him. Our daily bread is more than
food. It is what we want from life…our dreams for our futures, our dreams for our children,
and so on.
“And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us”.
We are asking God to forgive our sins, as we are forgiving those who sin against us.
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”.
We are asking God to keep us safe from those who may do us harm…or who may lead us
astray. God has granted us the right to choose between good and evil. It is up to us which
road we choose.
“For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever”
Once again, we are revering God’s majesty! He IS the way! He is the power, and all glory is in
Him. “Amen” Let it be! Amen

The Lord’s Prayer is the most powerful prayer ever in my opinion. People have been saying
this prayer for almost 2000 years, and like I said before, was taught by Jesus Himself! Now,
instead of just reciting the prayer…we can FEEL the prayer in all its glory!
Jesus didn’t just pull this prayer out of thin air. He not only taught it…He used it Himself to
pray to His father. Jesus had a relationship with his father, and that is what God wants for,
and from you…a relationship with Him. If you don’t have a relationship with God…how on
earth can you pray to him.
I have an example of what I am trying to say here. God blessed me with a singing voice. Not
just a guy who could carry a tune, but a REAL voice. You will understand what I am saying in
a moment. God not only blessed me with a voice, but He also blessed me with the capacity to
FEEL what I am singing. There is a HUGE difference between someone who just sings a song,
versus someone who FEELS a song. The emotion is what sells a voice…and emotion is what
sells a prayer. I hope you comprehend what I’m saying here.
